He spent many hours outside tending his garden and passersby frequently stopped for gardening advice which he was only too happy to provide. Addie and his wife Micheale shared a love of running. They ran countless 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, and they ran two marathons together. He is survived by his devoted wife, Micheale; along with five children, Christopher Lessard of Greenwood, Jared Lessard of Irvine, Calif., Elizabeth Lessard of Phoenix, Az., Alexandra Lessard of Hartly, and Tyler Mays of Marysville, Ohio.; plus three grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Daniel (Amy) Lessard of Suffield, Conn., Paul (Debbie) Lessard of Ocala, Fla., Michelle (Raymond) Krogman of Orlando, Fla., Brian (Kathy) Lessard of Camden, Colin (Tracy) Lessard of Haddonfield, N.J., and Sara Lessard (wife of late brother, Michael) of Riverhead, N.Y.
