Joseph Henry Beecher, 65
HIGHLAND, Calif. - Joseph Henry Beecher of Highland, formerly of Middletown, Del., died of pulmonary failure Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, in Loma Linda VA Hospital. He was 65.
Mr. Beecher retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service, having earned the rank of master sergeant.
He then worked at BF Goodrich for 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia M. Beecher; a son, Kenny Beecher; and his parents; Henry Ward Beecher and Christine Henry Beecher.
He is survived by a daughter, Angela (Beecher) Sloan of Middletown, Del.; a son, Kevin Beecher of Bear, Del.; and three grandchildren, Erin Beecher, Daniel Sloan and Kevin Beecher Jr.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday in Gracelawn Memorial Chapel, New Castle, Del.
Burial will be noon Wednesday in Gracelawn Memorial Cemetery, New Castle.
