Jonathan Clark Higgins of the Daysville Community, passed away on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. after being involved in a work-related accident. He was born Feb. 19, 1962 in Seaford the son of the late John Quincey and Marie Whaley Higgins. He loved his wife and family as well as cars and his goats. He was an employee of Logan Aluminum for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; as well as two brothers, Tommy and Tony Higgins. He is survived by his loving wife, Coleen Higgins of Daysville; two sons, Quincey Alan Higgins of Seaford and Matthew Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio; one daughter, Mandy Williamson Sydnor of Gordonsville, Ky.; three brothers, Christopher, Michael and Roger Higgins all of Laurel; two sisters, Laura Higgins and Linda Whothers both of Ocean Springs, Miss.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation with the Higgins family will be on Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. until funeral service time at 4 p.m. in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home. Interment will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Church Cemetery in Laurel.
