Johnny Mack Foster, 76
Johnny Mack Foster passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Johnny was born on July 31, 1944 in Manchester, Ohio to the late Edna Scott and Harold Foster.
Johnny was raised in Manchester and graduated from Manchester high school. After high school, Johnny joined the United States Air Force where he served for 22 years. After retiring as a MSGT, he went on to work in civil service as an Engineer. In his free time Johnny enjoyed fishing, playing pinochle, NASCAR, and was very family oriented.
In addition to his parents; Johnny was preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Shelton, of Bethel, Ohio and brother, Joseph Foster, of Sandusky, Ohio.
Johnny is survived by wife of 51 years, Jeanette; sons, James, and Johnny "JD" (Kimberley) Waite; daughters, Catherine (Michael) Rue of Camden, and Julia (Jack) Watson of Magnolia; brother, Phillip H. Foster of Manchester, Ohio; brother-in-law, Charles "Bubby" Shelton of Bethel, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Chase, Alexa and Lainey Waite, and Jaxson Watson. He will be missed by friends, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd., Dover, DE 19901, at 2 p.m. Friends may call an hour prior. Interment will be at Odd Fellows in Camden following the service.
