DOVER - Johnny L. Johnson of Dover passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, in the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill, Smyrna. He was 60.
Mr. Johnson was born Aug. 26, 1947, in Roanoke, Va., son of the late Thomas W. and Lucille (Cooper) Johnson.
Mr. Johnson worked as a laborer, unloading tractor trailers, for several years before retirement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna (Harvey) Johnson.
He is survived by four daughters, Loretta Talley of Smyrna, Lucille Johnson of Salisbury, Md., and Elizabeth Harvey and Marion Thompson, both of Aiken, S.C.; a son, Thomas Johnson of Smyrna; a brother, William Johnson of Newport News, Va.; and six grandchildren, Nathan Talley, Aaron Thompson, Jonathan Thompson, Tristan Thompson, Destiny Yerma and Ariana Talley.
Services and burial will be private.
Arrangements are by Faries Funeral Directors and Crematorium Inc., 29 S. Main St., Smyrna.
