GRIFTON, N.C. - John Unruh, of Grifton, and formerly of Georgetown, Del., passed away at his home in Grifton surrounded by his family on May 20, 2011. He was the son of the late Harold and Muriel Unruh. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara; his children, Stephen Unruh, Cathy Unruh and her husband Tom Sansone, Michael Unruh and his wife Mary, Martin Unruh and his wife Lynn; five grandchildren, Lindsey, Kelsey, Alyssa, Ethan, and Erika Unruh; one great-grandchild, Amiyah Fulton. He is also survived by his siblings, Alan Unruh and his wife Bobbie, Barbara Carey and her husband Bill, David Unruh and his wife Marion. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Watson Funeral Home,at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, and funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at 11 a.m. also at Watson Funeral Home. Interment follows at St. Johns Cemetery in Millsboro. Luncheon reception afterward at Conley's Church, Lewes. In lieu of flowers, family suggest contributions to your favorite charity in the name of John Unruh.
