MILLINGTON, MD - John "Jack" Fletcher Casey passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at his home in Millington. Jack was born October 3, 1932 in Sudlersville, MD the son of the late Fletcher William Casey and Eva "Boyles" Casey.
He was drafted into the United States Army where he only served a short time before returning home. In 1955 he started working for the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill and after 33 years retired in 1988. After retirement he worked part time at the Millington Food Rite. Jack attended the Holiness Christian Church in Millington and the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Henderson. He loved listening to Southern Gospel music, cleaning, gardening, cooking and mowing his grass and attending to the yard.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lena Casey of Millington, MD; two daughters, Melanie Brown (Joseph) of Millington, MD, Donna Merriman of Millington, MD; one sister, Joyce Manley of Millington, MD; four grandchildren, Joseph Brown, Jaquilyn Niezek, Cameron Merriman, Casey Merriman; two great grandchildren, Mason Brown, Shelby Niezek; and one great granddaughter on the way, Charlotte Merriman.
A visitation will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 11am- 12pm at Fellows Family Funeral Home 370 Cypress St. Millington, MD. Services will begin at 12 noon also at the funeral home. Interments will follow the service in Sudlersville Cemetery in Sudlersville, MD.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to Compass Regional Hospice 160 Coursevall Dr. Centreville, MD, 21617.
