Wyoming- John C. Brumbaugh, of Wyoming, passed away Thursday, Mar. 5, 2015, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 53. John was born Mar. 6, 1961, in Chester, Pa., to the late Robert & Sue(Jenkins)Brumbaugh. He had worked at Dupont for several years, before becoming disabled. John enjoyed spending time with his family, and going fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving former wife, and best friend, Ruth Harvey. John is survived by his 3 children, Rhianna Messing and her husband Carl, with whom he resided, Nikki Brumbaugh and her companion, Andrew Pecora, and Stephanie Brumbaugh, both of Dover; his siblings, Susan Mattera, of Claymont, James H. Henry, of Wilmington Manor, Robert Brumbaugh, Jr., of Bear, Teresa Dicecco, of Claymont, and Lisa Tisdel, of Milford; and 2 grandchildren, Kailyn Messing, of Wyoming and Hayden Parker, of Dover. A Celebration of John's life will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Mar. 9, 2015, in the Marydel Fire Hall, 110 Fire House Lane, Marydel, DE. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE 19934, to help with expenses.
