DOVER - John A. Bromley, Sr. passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 49. John was born on Aug. 31, 1964 in Dover, son of the late George W. Bromley, Sr. and Kay Conaway-Delcher. He worked as a boiler room technician for A.I. DuPont. John enjoyed football, golf, pool, motorcycles and rock n roll. He is survived by his ex-wife, Patty Whitt of Dover; a son, John Bromley, Jr. of Dover; a daughter, Aimee Bromley of Felton; two grandchildren, Riley Golt and Zane Golt both of Felton; two brothers, George W. Bromley, Jr. of Dover and Steven Bromley of Cheswold; stepdaughter, Denae Spiering of Greensboro, Md.; and stepson, Michael Rios of England, UK. Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where visitation will be two hours earlier. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Suite 1103, 100 W. Tenth St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
