JoAnne McClure passed peacefully on January 30, 2021, at Cadia Nursing Home in Dover. The former JoAnne Shuman, is survived by her son Raymond W. Spence and his wife Gina; twin brother, James R Shuman; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. JoAnne was born April 27, 1931.
JoAnne was married to the late Raymond McClure. She enjoyed roller skating and married Raymond McClure on roller skates.
She attended Wilmington High School class of '49. She worked retail for several years. She loved cats and would be followed by the strays that she fed, when she walked outside.
There will be no calling hours at Torbert Funeral Home, Dover, Del. She will be interred at Marshallton United Methodist Church Cemetery in West Chester, Pa. with her late husband Raymond. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
