KOKOMO, Ind. - JoAnne M. Ashbaugh "JoJo", 80, of Kokomo, Ind. passed away at 7:55 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014 at her home. She was born on July 9, 1933 in Newport Beach, California to the late Haven and Dorothy (Rowe) Holbrook. JoJo attended Newport Harbor High School and then furthered her education at Orange Coast College. She moved to Dover, Delaware in the mid 1960's and began her employment with Mellon Bank. She retired from the bank in 1997 after 30 years of service. JoJo is survived by her nieces, Cheryl Knapp, Debbie Sanchez, Lisa LaMere and Brenda Hawkins; nephews, Lee Jespersen and David Holbrook, all of California; niece, Dorothy Kennedy, Indiana; nephew, Charles Lucius, Illinois; several great nieces including, Charlene Kennedy and Christine Kennedy, both of Kokomo; and best friend, Gloria Colley, Delaware. JoJo was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harold Holbrook; two sisters, Genevieve Jespersen and Della Lucius; niece, Darline Lucius; and one great niece Amy Lucius. The family wishes to have private services at a later date. Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana assisted the family with arrangements.
