Joan Passwaters, 49 MILFORD - Joan Passwaters, of Milford, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 49. She was born on Jan. 6, 1959, in Milford, daughter of John W. Robinson and the late Clara Jean (Lank) Robinson. Joan was a homemaker who took great pride in cooking for her family, decorating and creating various craft projects. She was a modern day Martha Stewart. She loved her role as "Mom Mom" to her grandson, Eddie and adored her dog, Bell. Joan was a member of the Avenue United Methodist Church in Milford. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, John C. Robinson. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Larry B. Passwaters; her daughter, Tanya Passwaters of Milford; her father, John W. "Jack" Robinson of Glen Mills, Pa.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jill Elizabeth and Bruce Daisey of Dagsboro and Jean and Timothy Webb of Milford; a grandson, Eddie J. Passwaters; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was in the Avenue United Methodist Church, 20 N. Church St., Milford. Burial will be held privately. Instead of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Avenue United Methodist Church, 20 N. Church St., Milford, DE 19963; or to the American Diabetes Association of Delaware, 100 West 10th St., Suite 1002, Wilmington, DE 19801. Arrangements by Rogers Funeral Home, Milford.
