CAMDEN - Jeannette B. Voshell of Camden died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, in her son's home in Marydel, Md. She was 79.
Mrs. Voshell was born in Felton, daughter of the late Charles W. Sr. and Esther (Banning) Bostick.
She was an engineer for the Diamond State Telephone Co. for 34 years, retiring in 1987.
She enjoyed crocheting and taught a crochet class at the Milford Senior Center.
Mrs. Voshell was a member of the Retired Caesar Rodney Chapter of Telephone Pioneers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett H. Voshell, in 1985; and a son, John Robert Voshell, in 1978.
She is survived by two sons and three daughters-in-law, Charles W. and Debra Voshell of Seaford, J. Wayne and Linda Voshell of Marydel and Kathy Voshell of Camden; a daughter and a son-in-law, Nancy and John Thompson of Camden; a brother, Charles W. Bostick of Felton; a sister, Elizabeth A. Dill of Felton; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. today in the chapel of Berry Short-Funeral Services, Main Street, Felton, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
