LAUREL - Jeanette D. McCrea of Laurel died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. She was 88.
Mrs. McCrea was the daughter of the late Felix and Blanche Gregorkiewicz.
She was a homemaker.
She was an active bowler and enjoyed the beach. She loved to play cards. Her favorite game was pinochle.
Mrs. McCrea was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Laurel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas McCrea in 1988; a brother, Robert Gregor; and a sister, Blanche McCollum.
She is survived by two sons, Howard McCrea of Florida and Kenneth McCrea of New Zealand; two daughters, Barbara Messick of Delmar and Ruth Farrelly of Laurel; a sister, Irene Kowalski of New Castle; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West St., Laurel.
