BERLIN, Md. - Jean Margaret Green Aspinwall, entered into rest on August 13, 2010. She was born on March 13, 1920, in Altoona, to the late Harry Bruce & Leola Dunn Green. Jean received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Shippensburg State Teachers College (now Shippensburg University), she taught in Altoona, PA, the Wenga School, Paoli, PA and a Substitute Teacher for the Great Valley School District, Malvern, PA. She was a member & a Sunday School Teacher at the Church of the Good Samaritan, Paoli, PA, Past Matron of General Anthony Wayne Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Berwyn, PA, current member of Frankford Chapter, OES, Millville, Del. Beloved wife of Wallace E. Aspinwall, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. Loving mother of Wallace L. (Phyllis) Aspinwall, Sr., Virginia Aspinwall (Elliot) Goldfarb, Douglas L. (Linda) Aspinwall, Sr., Sherri Aspinwall Moore. She is also survived by a sister, Shirlee Green Shade; and her grandchildren, W. Lee (Rene) Aspinwall, Jr., Daniel L. (Teresa) Aspinwall, Christopher L. (Karen) Aspinwall, Jennifer L. Goldfarb & partner Shawn Langdon, Robert I. Goldfarb, Douglas L. "D.J." Aspinwall, Jr.; and five great-grandchildren. Life Celebration services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2010, at Mauger Givnish Inc. Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at 11 a.m. at Good Samaritan Cemetery, 212 West Lancaster Ave, Paoli, PA 19301. A visitation will be on August 19, 2010 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Mauger Givnish Inc. Funeral Home, 24 Monument Ave., Malvern, PA www.lifecelebration.com, with an Eastern Star Service at 8 p.m. by the West Chester Chapter 352 Order of the Eastern Star.
