MILFORD - Janet O. Boltz of Milford, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 11, 2014. She was 87. She was born to the late Roy and Florence Ogden in Wabash, Indiana. Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Robert Ogden. She was primarily a homemaker, working after her daughters were in school at Dixon Jewelers and City of Milford. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Alan G. Boltz; daughters, Anita (Ronnie) Joseph, Cheryl Kover, Judy (Mick) Hitchens and Nancy (Edward) Lee; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; and special friend to our family, Barbara Lee. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with service starting at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet's memory can be made to Avenue United Methodist Church, 20 N. Church St., Milford, DE 19963 or Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
