MAGNOLIA - Janet L. Yerkie passed away on October 29, 2021. Her soul went home to be with the Lord.
Mrs. Yerkie was a domestic engineer. Her religious affiliation was Seventh Day Baptist. Her hobbies included gardening and watching birds and wild animals.
Mrs. Yerkie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Edward A. Yerkie; her sister, Diane Payton of Seaford; and her favorite granddaughter, Ashlynn Freeman. She was preceded in death by her son, Eric J. Freeman; and by her sister, Hassie Payton.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
