Jane E. Bennetti Kerby

Dover - Jane E. Bennetti Kerby passed away, Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, in Westminster Health Center, Dover. Jane was born Sept. 19, 1920, in LeRoy, N.Y. to the late, Charles & Florence(Gross) Blood. She attended LeRoy schools, and later worked at General Foods, in LeRoy, N.Y. Home town of Jello. Jane was a Communicant of the Church of the Holy Cross, in Dover; member of the Modern Maturity Center, Volunteer Glee Club, and ARSVP. She also bowled for the Modern Maturity Team, and Club 55 at Brunswick Lanes. In 1941 she married Ernest F. Bennetti, and was married 42 years before his passing in 1983. In 1990 she married F. Edgar Kerby, who died in 1992. In addition to her parents and husbands, Jane was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond & Francis Blood; and her sisters, Catherine Green and Virginia Lyttle. Jane is survived by her son, Douglas Bennetti & wife, Sue, of Wyoming; daughter, Tina Klecan & husband, Jim, of Hartly; four grandchildren, Michael Bennetti & wife, Joanne, Brian Klecan & wife, Kim, Michele Bennetti Wilson & husband, William, Tanya Klecan Williams, & husband, Jeff; great-grandchildren, Haley, Gabrielle & Cassidy Bennetti; Andrew & Dylan Wilson, Nathan & Nicholas Williams, and Lydia & Juliet Klecan. The family wishes to thank all the nurses, cna's & staff at Westminster Health Care and State Street Assisted Living, for Mom's loving care. Funeral Services will be held 12 noon, Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc. 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view 1 hour before. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church of the Holy Cross, 631 South State St. Dover, DE 19904.
