ODESSA, Del. - James Michael "Mike" O'Neal passed away Wed., Dec. 15, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.
Mike was born Aug. 7, 1962, in Dover, Del. the son of Helen Marie O'Neal and the late Robert O'Neal. Mike worked for J.J. White as a welder/boilermaker. Known to some as "The Irish Hammer" Mike enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brother Bobby and best friend Dale. He loved working in his yard, and he was always proud of his garden. Mike had a way of always making everyone laugh and he was loved by all who knew him.
In addition to his father; he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert O'Neal Jr.; his sisters, Pamela Lee, Connie, and Bonnie O'Neal; and one brother-in-law, Jack Caldwell.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn O'Neal; paternal mother, Helen O'Neal; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Donny Attix; son, Michael O'Neal; uncle, Jimmy Baxter; mother-in-law, Diane Estes; father-in-law, Ray Estes; sister and brother-in-law, Crystal and James Henson; sister-in-law, Renee Caldwell; sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and Jeff Robinson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that loved him very much.
A visitation will be held Sat., Jan. 8, 2022, from 10-11 a.m. at Fellows Family Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St., Millington, Md. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Millington Asbury Cemetery in Millington, Md.
