James J. 'Jamie' Simpson, 48 WILMINGTON - James J. "Jamie" Simpson, of Wilmington, formerly of Harrington, died Monday, July 21, 2008, in Christiana Hospital surrounded by his family. He was 48. Jamie was born in Milford, to parents James and Mary Simpson, in 1959. He graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1977. Jamie enlisted in the U.S. Navy and became a marine electrician after his discharge. He enjoyed reading, woodworking and fishing. His proudest moment came when his son Jesse was born. In addition to his parents and his son, Jesse, he is survived by one sister, Debra Allen Gangi and her husband John; one brother, Steven Simpson; nieces, Lisa and Kathryn Allen; and a nephew, Donald Allen Jr. There will be a memorial service 3 p.m. Sunday in the Harrington Baptist Church, Liberty Street, Harrington. Arrangements by Price Funeral Home, Harrington.
