DOVER - James F. Fuller died Sept. 10, 2018 at ST. Mary's Catholic Home in Cherry Hill, N.J.
Born in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late Frank and Martha Fuller. Having lost his father at the age of 12, he spent his teenaged summers near Chenango Forks, N.Y., helping on his aunt's chicken farm where he enjoyed the country life. He attended Erasmus High School where he participated on the Swim Team. He married his high school sweetheart, Dorothy Marie LeBas, in 1951. The couple had six children before moving to Parsippany, N.J. and later to Randolph, N.J. Jim served as a Banker at Chemical Bank in Manhattan for forty years retiring in 1987. The couple enjoyed travel and being Grandpa and Grandma to thirteen grandchildren until his wife Dorothy passed in 2000. Jim moved to Dover a few years later and met and married Rosemary Duchesne in 2010. Besides his wife Dorothy and parents he was predeceased by his brothers George and William and grandchildren John Parker and Danielle Fuller.
He is survived by his daughters, Dorothy Fuller, Ann Gillespie (Joseph). Also survived by his sons, James (Missy), John (Jacquelyn), Dan (Linda), Steve and his wife; grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Matthew, Joshua, Lindsay, Alana, Katie, Kyle, Rachel, Jared and Brian.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018 at Holy Cross Church where a viewing will be held starting at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.
