LEWES - Jack Dean Pack of Lewes died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at his residence. He was 81.
Mr. Pack was born in Sioux City, Iowa, son of the late Robert Pack and Inez (Heydon) Dubes.
He served as regional vice president of the American Express Co.
Mr. Pack was an avid computer user, an avid gardener, and enjoyed traveling.
He was a member of the Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2547 and the Masonic Lodge in Berlin, Germany.
Mr. Pack was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Rehoboth Beach.
He was a veteran of both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Pack is survived by his wife, Diantha E. (Seaman) Pack of Lewes; a daughter, Kim Elizabeth Lord of Big Bear City, Calif.; a son, Mark Eliot Pack of Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Janet Puguon of Searchlight, Nev.; a half brother, Robert Pack of Porterville, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Westminster Presbyterian Church, King Charles and Laurel streets, Rehoboth Beach, with the Rev. Frank Demming officiating.
Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association, 1151 Walker Road, Suite 202, Dover, DE 19901.
Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
