J. Crawford Ginn, 73

CLAYTON - J. Crawford Ginn of Clayton passed away Saturday, April 7, 2007, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 73.

Mr. Ginn was born Jan. 8, 1934, in Townsend, son of the late Crawford and Florence Ginn.

He retired from A.E.T. in Middletown in 1994 due to declining health.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Doris Ginn Schroeder, a brother, Francis Heverin and a brother-in-law, Eulon Jackson.

He is survived by his daughter, Beatrice Melvin and her husband John of Clayton; a granddaughter, Krystal Hannum and her husband, Donald of Clayton; a brother, Jerry Ginn and his wife, Jane of Newport; a sister, Vivian Jackson of Brewton, Ala.; a niece, Faye Hodges of Brewton; and nephews, Edward Jackson and Millard Jackson of Florida.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, where family may call one hour earlier.

Burial will follow in Townsend Cemetery.

Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice Services, The Stockton Building, 261 Chapman Road, Suite 100, Newark, DE 19702.
