MILLSBORO - Iva Elizabeth MacFadden of Millsboro went to live with the Lord Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005. She was 71.

She was born Jan. 19, 1934, in Bristow, Okla., daughter of the late Thomas and Onita Seabolt.

Mrs. MacFadden was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and her computer.

She was involved in the Long Neck Lions Club for several years, where she held the office of secretary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Seabolt.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, David Edwin MacFadden; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Steve D. Davis of Newark, Bruce E. Davis of Wallington, N.J., and Thomas R. and Norma Davis of Millsboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda L. and Joseph Zappo of Newark; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Jean Seabolt of Ringling, Okla.; eight grandchildren, Kimberly, Lori, Lisa, Hillary, Stefanie, Christopher, Jennifer and Nicholas; a great-grandson, Jason; and two stepdaughters and their children, Linda West and Debbie McQueen, all of Tucson, Ariz.

Services were held in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck. Pastor J. Allen Miller of the Oak Orchard Community Church officiated.

Burial was private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Compassionate Care Hospice, 5610 Kirkwood Highway, Suites 5610-5612, Wilmington, DE 19808.
