Isabelle Sheehan

Isabelle Sheehan, 96 DOVER - Isabelle Sheehan, 96, of Dover, died Friday April 16, 2010. Born in Hobokin, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Vincentia Protomastro. Mrs. Sheehan had worked as a relief operator at General Foods for over 35 years retiring in 1976. She was a devout member of Holy Cross Church and was one who was dedicated to her family. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard Sheehan, who died in 1979; and a son, Richard who died in 1945. She was also pre-deceased by one sister and seven brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Maureen Slezak and spouse Robert of Dover, and Isabelle Toto and spouse Regis of Dover; one son, Patrick Sheehan of Florida; one sister, Anne Crimmins of Dover; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday evening at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10 A.M. on Wednesday at Holy Cross Church, S. State St. Dover. Interment will be Thursday at 11 A.M. in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Donations may be sent to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901. Guest Book Signings and Condolences may be made at www.ambruso.com.
