DOVER - Isabelle M. DeVita of Dover died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in Westminster Village Health Center, Dover. She was 93.
Mrs. DeVita was born in New York, daughter of the late Julius and Josephine Ferrara.
She had lived in Brooklyn and had served as a clerk in the government of New York City until her 1985 retirement. She moved to Dover from Brooklyn in 2002.
Mrs. DeVita was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Augustino DeVita.
She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, Vincent A. and Pauline F. DeVita of Dover; a daughter and a son-in-law, Josephine and Donald Smith of Kingston, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, South State Street, Dover.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, North State Street, Dover.
