BALTIMORE - Irene A. Wendling has gone to the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at home. She was 76.
She was born in Baltimore, on Aug. 7, 1931, daughter of the late John and Blanche Linnemann.
Mrs. Wendling enjoyed listening to country music, watching TV, working on crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen P. Wendling on Dec. 22, 1982; three brothers, John, Stewart, and Herbert Linnemann; her three sisters, Gladys Bennett, Marie Neville, and Loretta Mariono.
She is survived by five children Mary and Dan Slacum, Stephen and Nina Wendling, Debbie and Tom Marr, Jackie Kelly, and Kimberly and Roger Willis; seven grandchildren, Thomas and Melissa Marr, Nicole and Stephanie Wendling, Lacey Slacum, Joshua and Danielle Willis; and two great-grandchildren, Aiden Thomas Marr, Jailyn Irene Dugger, and one on the way, Brooke Dugger.
Memorial Service will be from 3-5 p.m. today in Hubbard's Funeral Home, Baltimore.
Burial will be at Louden Park, Baltimore.
Flowers or contributions are accepted in her name to Delaware Hospice.
