Iona Durham

DOVER - Iona "Tiny" Durham, of Dover, departed this life Monday, Dec. 12, 2011. She passed away at home after suffering terribly from a host of chronic illnesses. "Tiny" was born on May 31, 1935, and was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Durham. She leaves to mourn three loving sisters and their spouses, Delores and Douglas Harmon, Leona and Jude Jackson, and Peggy and Glendon Durham; one niece, Pam Jones; and two nephews, Tony Durham and Gary Jackson, whom "Tiny" helped to raise; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her greatly. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Immanuel Union United Methodist Church, Cheswold, on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. Letters of condolence and guest book may be signed at www.benniesmithfuneralhome.com.
