Hope Ann Brown, 59 HARTLY -Hope Ann Brown, of Hartly. died Wednesday. July 16, 2008 in The University of Pennsylvania. She was 59. She was born Feb. 26, 1949, in Dover, to Howard and Roberta Tuxward. She worked for the state of Delaware Court 7 as a court clerk for 17 years. Mrs. Brown also owned her own business called Hodon Inc. Cleaning Service for 20 years, which she ran until 2000. She is a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church, Dover. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her step mother, Marilyn Tuxward, brothers, Howard Vaughn Tuxward and Jerry Steele. She is survived by her father Howard Tuxward and his wife Margie of Camden; her mother, Roberta Steele of Middletown; her close personal friend B. Golt of Ridgley, Md.; three sons, Rob Tuxward and his wife Kristy of Hartly, Michael G. Brown of Dover, Donald Caulk, Jr. of Harrington; two daughters, Linda Brown of Dover and Rebecca Parker of Camden; two grandchildren, Meredith Hope Parker and Brady Tuxward; numerous nieces and nephews, John Tuxward of Camden, Brian and Jeff Tuxward both of Hartly, Jake Steele of Charlotte, N.C., Jackie Steele, Edith Merced, Roberta Prazzo and Shirley Olsen all of Middletown, and her husband Willie Brown. Funeral services will 1 p.m. Monday in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Route. 10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Dover. The family would like to ask everyone to come in light colored clothing nothing black. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 1151 Walker Road, Suite 202 Dover, Delaware 19904.
