Hilda Ellen (Morris) Reinacher, 55

ROCK HALL, Md. - Hilda Ellen (Morris) Reinacher of Rock Hall died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at Chester River Hospital Center, Chestertown. She was 55.

Mrs. Reinacher was born in Townsend, Del., on Oct. 28, 1951, daughter of the late David James and Ruth Catherine (Cahall) Morris.

She attended school in Townsend, and in 1971 married Ray Reinacher Jr. of Rock Hall.

Mrs. Reinacher and her husband lived in Rock Hall at Sailing Emporium, where Mr. Reinacher worked until Hurricane Isabelle forced them to move.

She loved country music, played the guitar and was in a country band for a while. She also loved to collect dolls and angels.

A devoted housewife and mother, Mrs. Reinacher loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Although in poor health, she devoted her life to her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Russell Reinacher of Chestertown, and Ray Reinacher III of Rock Hall; two daughters, Patricia Reinacher of Chestertown, and Laura Hopkins of Felton, Del.; a grandson that she raised for the past 15 years, David Reinacher of Rock Hall; her stepdaughters, Sandra Sheffield of Colorado, Cheryle Waltz of Paradise, Pa., Evelyn Reinacher of Paradise, Edith Hall of Middletown, Del., and Debra Dill of Northeast; her sisters, Ruth Drews of Smyrna, Del., Olabelle Coppock of Felton, Virginia Crouch of Felton, and Phyllis Vincent of Pembroke, Ga.; her brothers, Willard Morris of Dover, and James Morris of Dover; 14 nieces and nephews; 28 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, where relatives and friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to a memorial fund set up at Peoples Bank, P.O. Box 96, Rock Hall, MD 21661.
