FREDERICA - Herbert N. Floyd, Jr. passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 at Delaware Hospice Center Milford. He was born on March 9, 1948 in Baltimore, Md. to the late Herbert and Freda Cooper Floyd, Sr. He work for Lowe's Department Store as a delivery manager, he severed in the US ARMY, enjoyed playing his guitar with his son, riding his Harley, playing with his dog, GABE. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy L. Wheedleton Floyd in Nov. 2002. He is survived by wife, Christie Floyd of Frederica; sons, Chris E. Floyd of Frederica, Tim Thompson and Casey Thompson both of Milford; daughter, Teresa Campbell of Dover; brother, Ron Floyd of Easton, Md.; brother-in-law, Dave Sterling of Easton, Md.; sister, F. Irene Sterling of Easton, Md.; grandchildren, Kody, Bryce, Haley, Mason, Anna, Kolin Thompson, and Megan Francia. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, DE 19901. Friends may call an hour before time of service. Friends may call Friday evening form 6 to 8 p.m. in the Trader Funeral Home in Dover. Burial will be at the Sharon Hills Memorial Park , Dover, DE.
