Helen Marie Kendall, beloved wife, sister, and aunt went to her Heavenly home on January 23, 2022.
Born on April 24, 1938, in Templeville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Thomas. Helen married John Kendall on June l7, 1961. They have been married for 60 wonderful years. She was a lifetime resident of Henderson, Maryland and graduated from Greensboro High School in 1956. She loved her church and church family Community Baptist Church where she was an active member.
Helen survived by her husband, John; her loving cat, Missy; brothers, Linwood Thomas (Betty), and Charles Thomas; brother-in-laws, George Kendall (Ann), Ralph Shaw; sister-in-laws, Phyllis Wallace (Paul) and Bernice Biddle; and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents; and her daughter, Mary Kendall.
Helen always enjoyed being with family and friends. She enjoyed doing the crossword puzzle each morning in the newspaper. She enjoyed for many years doing ceramics. Helen was willing to help anybody and everybody that she could, no matter what it was they needed. She will be missed by many and especially her family and friends that she loved so very much.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 12-1 p.m. at Fellows Helfenbein and Newnam located at 106 West Sunset Avenue, Greensboro, MD 21639. Followed by a service, burial will follow at Stillpond Cemetery.
