Helen Margaret Decawski, 89
MIDDLETOWN - Helen Margaret Decawski, of Middletown, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Christiana Care-Christiana Hospital, Newark. She was 89.
Mrs. Decawski was born Dec. 20, 1918, in Pittston, Pa., to the late John Jurosky and Mary (Damko) Jurosky.
She worked as a sewing machine operator in Swoyersville, Pa.
Mrs. Decawski was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Swoyersville.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking.
Mrs. Decawski was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Decawski, in 1981.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Decawski; and her grandson, Jason Decawski, both of Middletown.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. today at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St., Dover.
Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Exeter, Pa.
