Helen Juanita Edwards, 78

LAUREL - Helen Juanita Edwards of Laurel passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007, at her home. She was 78.

Mrs. Edwards was born in West Virginia, daughter of the late Asa and Bertie Smith.

She attended Beach Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Edwards was a loving homemaker, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Hershell Edwards; her daughters, Joyce Willin of Laurel, Brenda Johnson and her husband James of Delmar, and Judy Cropper and her husband George of Delmar; a sister, Delma Diehl of Seaford; her grandchildren, Daniell Johnson, Curtis Rodenizer, Jordan Cropper, George Cropper Jr., Gene Cropper and Trevor Johnson; her great-grandchildren, Aaron Rodenizer and Brooke Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

Two sisters, Thelma Jones and Phyllis Fretwell, preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pastor Gary Tulak will officiate.
