Dover - Helen Elizabeth Youngs passed over to Glory Thursday Sept. 13, 2018 from her residence in Luther Towers of Dover.
Born Jan. 30, 1923 in Midland, Mich. to Floyd and Altie Drain Wheeler.
She was the beloved wife of the Rev. Gerald G. Youngs who preceded her in death in 2007.
They ministered together in various capacities which eventually brought them to Dover after retirement in Michigan.
Ms. Helen's heart was for all to find their way to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and would often be found praying for someone that had asked for prayer. Her fun filled laughter and life sparkle was contagious to many she met over the years. She was dearly respected, loved, and cherished by friends and family. She will be missed, but not forgotten. "An Angel on earth for a season"
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018 at The Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE 19901, where friends may start calling at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.
