HOUSTON - Helen E. Blessing of Houston died Saturday, July 21, 2007, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 78.
Helen was born April 11, 1929, in Felton, daughter of the late Albert and Laura (Russum) Schmick Sr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Henry Wade Blessing; and her brother, Albert "Al" Schmick Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Floyd K. Blessing Sr.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, F. Kenneth Jr. "Kenny" and Sherry Blessing of Milford and their sons, Eric and Justin Blessing and Joel Blessing, and his special friend, Carol Ann Wilkins of Milford and son, Dustin Wilkins, and a daughter, Carol Lee Argo of Milford and her sons, Sam and Nicholas Argo.
Services were held privately at her bedside.
Memorial contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE, 19901.
