GALENA - Hazel Wimmer Price died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at her daughter's home in Millington, Md. Hazel W. Price was born Oct. 31, 1926 in Jennersville, Pa. the daughter of the late Norman Wimmer and Hettie "Mills" Wimmer. Mrs. Price was a 1943 graduate of Middletown High School. In November of 1946 she married her late husband, Alvah Austin "Twinny" Price. Mrs. Price was Co owner with her husband of Crystal Beach Manor for many years, Co owner of Middletown Auto Sales, Cecil Auto Sales, and Duck Neck Campground. Mrs. Price enjoyed playing cards and having lunch with the "girls". An avid collector of antiques and Santa Clauses, Mrs. Price enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvah "Twinny" Price; two daughters, Linda Carey and Susan Beattie; two brothers, George and Robert; and five sisters, Claire, Pearl, Ruby, Mildred and Norma; and her beloved cat "Baby". She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Morales and husband CJ of Millington, Md., Ida Nabb and husband Steve of Chestertown, Md.; grandchildren, Mark Manlove, Stephen Manlove, Rich Carey, Matt Carey, Lauren Morales, Ashley Nabb, Jessica Morales, and PFC Steven Nabb; one step grandson, Bill Beattie; two son in laws, Jim Beattie and Richard Carey; and seven great-grand children. A visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home 370 Cypress St. Millington, MD. Services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. also at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held in St. Stephens Cemetery in Earlville, Md. following the service.
