HARRINGTON - Harry Julius Chadwick passed away at home, on Thursday, Jan. 08, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Harry was born on June 9, 1930 in Sheldon, Iowa, to the late Warren and Helen Chadwick. Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Delores; son, Randy; and siblings Robert and Sherry. Harry was self-employed as a plumber for many years, and also worked at Polytech, as a plumbing instructor. He enjoyed golfing, card games, and going to dinner with his friends. Above all else he cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, Meredith and Amy Chadwick, Allison Passwaters, Heather and Jason Pfeifer, Canice Kinnel; and great-grandchildren, Gavin, Cameron, Amani, Kylee, Cody, Caroline, Kacie, Kenly, Mason, Abigail, and one on the way. Harry was married to Delores for 51 years until her passing in 2001. He is survived by a son, Michael Chadwick and his wife Sue, of Millville; a daughter, Linda Pfeiffer and her husband Larry, of Woodside; a sister Carla Ziegler and her husband Donald, of Camden-Wyoming; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at 12:00 noon, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Delaware 19934. Friends may call one hour prior. Burial will follow services at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harry's honor can be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE. 19963.
