'Buddy' Harris Alexander Johnson DOVER - "Buddy" Harris Alexander Johnson, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, in the VA Medical Center, Elsmere. He was born on Feb. 2, 1948, in Bolivar County, Miss., son of the late Reese and Edith (Morgan) Johnson. Buddy served his country proudly in the U.S. Army serving during Vietnam. He worked for Outten Brothers Furniture in the warehouse and deliveries before taking his disability. Buddy enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lillian Turk Rigby Johnson; four sisters, Mary Saylor of Greensboro, Md., Elaine Hudson of Denton, Md., Evelyn Yarbrough and Peggy Boyd, both of Mississippi; a brother, Michael Johnson of Greensboro, Md.; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
