Harriet Ann Shea, 80

BELLEVUE - Harriet Ann Shea, 80, passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at Century Ridge, CBRF, Bellevue, Wis. She was born June 4, 1928, in Milford, to the late Harry and Roxie Ann Wells Matthews. Formerly of Hartly, she married the late Harold Shea in New Jersey and he preceded her in death in 1998. She retired from General Foods in Dover. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved times spent with her family and reading the Bible daily. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Century Ridge, CBRF, for all of the special care given to Harriet and her family during this difficult time. She is survived by daughter and her husband, Donna and Steve Salke Shea of Kure Beach, N.C.; son, Ricky Shea of Wilmington, N.C.; son and his wife, Michael and Lou Shea of Green Bay, Wis.; daughter, Cindy Shea-Walker of Green Bay; daughter and her husband, Christy and Mark Joseph of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother; a sister-in-law; two sisters; nieces and nephews. Services and burial will be Thursday, Jan. 8, at 1 p.m. at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7 at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
