Harold Wayne Nock

DOVER - Harold Wayne Nock passed away peacefully at the Silver Lake Center in Dover on Saturday, December 5, 2015. He was 88. Mr. Nock was born on September 8, 1927 to the late James and Myrtle Nock. He served in the US Navy from 1943 to 1944 on a gas ship, the Natchu. It travelled up and down the Pacific Ocean refueling ships and planes. He worked at Wayne Pump in Salisbury, Md. until retiring. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Nock; and his sister, Theresa. Harold is survived by a sister, Tiney Ward; a niece, Dawn Ward; two step-daughters, Thelma Butler and Carolyn Schuyler; six grandchildren, T. Ann Truitt, Daniel Butler, Jr., Debra Butler, Nikki Harris, April Shade, and Michael Harris; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Burial services will be private. Arrangements in the care of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
