CAMDEN - Gregory Albert Harthausen Sr., of Camden, formerly of Millersville, Md., passed away Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, in Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 68. He was born on April 13, 1940, in Baltimore, Md., one of three children to the late Albert and Irma (Bushong) Harthausen. Gregory was self-employed in heating and air conditioning. He was a former appointee of the State Board of Funeral Service, State of Maryland where he had served as president. His hobbies included a custom embroidery business, playing cards and spending time with friends, family and grandchildren. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of Baltimore Forrest Tall Cedars 45 Gregory is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth Harthausen; a son, Gregory Albert Harthausen Jr. and his wife Andrea of Forest Hill, Md.; a daughter, Amy Mullen and her husband Michael of Severn, Md.; and three grandchildren, Nicholas and Natalie Mullen and Emily Harthausen. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Kent General Hospital Foundation, 640 S. State St., Dover, DE 19904 or Muscular Dystrophy Association through the Baltimore Forrest Tall Cedars 45. Celebration of life services will be 6:30 p.m. Monday at Wyoming United Methodist Church, 107 Broad St., Wyoming. Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
