HARRINGTON - Glenna W. Smith, 97, died at home on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009. Her caregivers, Angie and Juanita allowed her to remain in her home these last few years with their dedicated care and compassion. Glenna had a very successful career retiring as a Vice President with American Bankers Insurance Company. Glenna will be remembered fondly as a kind and generous person who made a huge impact on those around her. She will be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, William 'Bill' Smith in 2004; and two brothers, Sudler and Jay. She is survived by her niece, Tammy; nephews, Terry and Timmy; and her step-children, Elvia, 'Kitty', Michael, and Billy. There will be no viewing. Internment will be in Hollywood Cemetery were graveside services will be 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 18. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Hospice or Alzheimer's research. Arrangements by Price Funeral Home, Harrington.
