Gladys V. "Pat" Dinger, 97
SMYRNA – Gladys V. "Pat" Dinger of Smyrna, formerly of DuBois, Pa., died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, in her home. She was 97.
Mrs. Dinger was born June 1, 1909, in Weedville, Pa., daughter of the late William and Catherine Rees Patterson.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Dinger loved bingo, traveling and reading. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Dinger, in 1973; and a grandson, James Daniel Wingard, in 1979.
She is survived by two daughters, Joline M. Wingard of Smyrna and Lynne A. Dirks of Alvin, Texas; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services and burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice Inc., 911 S. Du Pont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
