RIDGELY, Md. - Gladys Jane Leisner formerly of Ridgely died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, in Memorial Hospital of Easton. She was 78.
She was born March 6, 1928, in Baltimore.
Mrs. Leisner attended school in the city.
On March 8, 1946, she married August Raymond Leisner Jr. of south Baltimore. She raised her family in Brooklyn Park. She moved to Ridgely in 1995.
Mrs. Leisner was a member of the Immanuel Wesleyan Church, Ridgely.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edward and Mary (Truitt) Cordrey; her husband of 56 years, August Raymond Leisner Jr.; a granddaughter, Kara Wagenbrenner; and three sisters, Madeline Albert, Dorothy Lee and Margaret Miller.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Delosier of Greensboro and Linda Wagenbrenner of Berkley Springs, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Karl Wagenbrenner Jr. of Warfordburgh, Pa., Charles Wagenbrenner serving in the U.S. Army in Germany, Krista Wagenbrenner of Belcamp, and Mary (Delosier) Weedman, Laurie Delosier and Victoria Delosier, all of Greensboro; a brother, William Cordrey of Severn; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, P.A, Greensboro.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Immanuel Wesleyan Church, Ridgely.
Burial will be in Eastern Shore Veteran Cemetery, Hurlock.
