Gertrude Coroniti

Gertrude 'Trudy' Coroniti, 75

DOVER - Gertrude "Trudy" Coroniti, of Dover, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at her home, with family by her side. She was 75.

She was born Nov. 18, 1932, in Van Buren, Maine, to the late Thomas and Euphemie (Guerrette) Lapointe.

Mrs. Coroniti was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Dover, and attended Mass as many times as they were held on a weekly basis.

She was an extremely talented seamstress and worked for many fine clothing stores over the years.

Mrs. Coroniti loved being with her family, especially at holidays.

She was always there for her family and will be extremely missed by them all.

Mrs. Coroniti was preceded in death by two sisters, Viola Cyr and Joann Lapointe.

She is survived by her husband, Dante Coroniti of Dover, who lovingly maintained her care in the home for the last seven years. They were best of friends and had a loving marriage lasting 46 years. She is also survived by her daughter and her husband, Jan and Ken Muth of Newark; son and his wife, Anthony and Donna Coroniti of Dover; granddaughter, Brittany Hogan of Houston; grandson, John Coroniti of Dover; sister, Mabel Pushkarewicz of Orlando, Fla.; sister, Constance Rizendi of Massachusetts; sister, Theresa Lessard Hebron of Connecticut; and sister, Barbara Bossie of Maine; a brother and his wife, Thomas and Dorris Lapointe of New Jersey; brothers, John and Roland Lapointe, both of Connecticut; and a brother and his wife, Gerald and Kathy Lapointe of Maine; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Dover.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Trader Funeral Home, Dover.

Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Peter's Cemetery, Mount Carmel, Pa.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
