Geraldine Breeding

LAUREL - Geraldine "Gerry" Breeding died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, at the Lofland Park Center in Seaford. Born in Harmony, Md., near Preston, Md., on June 24, 1945, Mrs. Breeding was the daughter of the late Edward Thomas Pollard and Audrey Hicks Pollard. Mrs. Breeding had worked for many years in the Accounting Department of the Bay Health (Kent General) Hospital in Dover, until 2005. She then worked for the Lofland Park Center in Seaford until last year when she retired because of health. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was also an active member of the Seaford Christian Church. Mrs. Breeding is survived by her son, Brian Breeding and his significant other, Jodi Swartz, of Greenwood; her sister, Joyce Newcomb, of Easton, Md.; two grandsons, Colin Breeding and Colby Breeding; a granddaughter, Brooke Breeding; her sister-in-law, Norma Pollard; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her dog, Mickey. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016 at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street, Denton, Md., where friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday evening. The interment will be in the Denton Cemetery.
