MILTON - Gerald E. "Jerry" Manley passed away on Feb. 14, 2011, with his loving wife Patricia by his side. Jerry served in the U.S. Army, for four years and was a member of the American Legion Post #28. Jerry is survived by his wife, Patricia, and his yellow lab and faithful companion, Buffy. Other survivors include his cousin, whom he considered his sister, Barbara Ann Beard (Charles); his brother-in-law, Joe; and sister in law, Norma Brennan. Also, he leaves behind many lifelong friends and co-workers from JC Penney's. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerald's name to Wilmington Trust Bank, 107 Front St., Milton, DE 19968. Services and burial will be private. Arrangements by Short Funeral Services.
