GREENWOOD - Gary L. Cannon passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Hospice Center in Milford. He was born July 26, 1945, in Milford, the son of the late John and Marybelle Willey Cannon. Gary served his country in the US Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, being around the water, working in his yard, woodworking and all kinds of sports. Gary is survived by his wife of 33 years, Faye; four children, Lynn Cannon Brown, of Laurel, Keith Alvino, of Georgetown, Kevin Alvino, of Seaford, and Jeanine Alvino, of Greenwood; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Jack Cannon, of Bridgeville, Buddy Cannon, of Millsboro, Pat Ewing, of Bridgeville, Bonnie Workman, of Bridgeville, Andy Cannon, of Georgetown; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 2 pm, at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St, Greenwood, DE., 19950. Friends and family may call one hour prior to service. In lieu of flower's donation's can be sent to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE., 19963.
