DOVER - Gary E. Groff of Dover passed away Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 62.
He was born on July 6, 1944, in Lancing, N.Y. to the late John and June Groff.
Mr. Groff worked for the state of Delaware DOT in the sediment and stormwater management Dept.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He enjoyed playing pinochle and Studebaker cars.
He is survived by wife, Margaret Groff of Dover; son and his wife, Scott and Gloria Groff of Dover; daughter and her husband, Sandra and Jerry Krumm of Magnolia; daughter, Wendy Vis of Camden; nine grandchildren.
Remembrance services will be Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Trader Funeral Home in Dover. Friends may call from 5:30 p.m. until time of the service.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to The Robbins Hose Volunteer Fire Department, Dover.
